Chinese Greetings Practice Sheet

These six characters cover hello, thank you and goodbye — the phrases you will say before you can say anything else. 好 and 谢 are also a useful early lesson in how a character splits into left and right halves, which is exactly what the dashed quadrants in a tian zi ge are there to help you place.

Characters (up to 20 — punctuation is ignored)

Pinyin (optional — one syllable per character, tone numbers OK: ni3 → nǐ)

In the print dialog choose A4 or Letter, portrait. Pick “Save as PDF” to keep a copy.

What is on this sheet
